MEET OUR TEAM Sponsorship positions are open for one week at the beginning of the year and then close until the next year. We offer three tiers: Gold, Premium, and Standard. Sponsors are showcased on our website and at all meetings throughout the year, and they receive special benefits based on their tier. We're a community of female professionals who come together to brainstorm ideas and share information, and experiences for both professional and social purposes. Meet Our Leadership Team! Instead Of Just Making Connections We Made New Friends. We've been nicknamed "the nice group" In January 2019, Michelle started a Facebook group called Triangle Women's Network with the aim to be different. Debi soon joined as an admin to help bring structure, establish rules, and grow the group. We wanted a place where we could talk about our businesses, be more relaxed, post job openings, ask for general advice or community recommendations, share a funny meme or an inspirational quote, and generally feel free to be ourselves. What we created is so much more! Our Story In January 2023, a friend invited Michelle to coffee but had to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency. Making the best of the situation, Michelle invited anyone from the group to join her instead. Surprisingly, all the women in the photo above showed up. It felt different from other networking groups; we were making friends rather than just business contacts. The atmosphere was supportive, with women from diverse backgrounds across the Triangle coming together to socialize and help one another. Since it happened to be the third Thursday of the month and was so successful, we decided to continue it monthly, calling it "3rd Thurs." From there, we also added another networking event in Cary on the first Thursday of the month. Eventually, we expanded to include a coffee meetup on the second Thursday and a social event on the fourth Thursday. Meet The Team Michelle Myers Founder Michelle is a math tutor from Mississippi who currently lives in North Raleigh. She is a mom of two elementary-aged children and two dogs, and she is passionate about helping women connect while elevating their mindset and vibration. We believe in an Abundance mindset: that there is plenty of clients, money, and resources to go around. We believe in the inclusion of cultures, diversity of interests, being our authentic selves, lifting one another up, disagreeing respectfully, and having hard, but necessary discussions to maintain our core values.
