LIVING YOUR TRUTH
“Growing up, you forget what is possible because so many people tell you it is not possible.”
Throughout our lives, most of us learned to suppress who we truly are. We may have experiences where we express ourselves, were shamed, or punished in some way which led to self doubt. We learned at a deep subconscious level expressing our authentic self was not safe.
Children want to be loved by their parents. For some children, they do what they can, even if it means turning against themselves, in order to get a small amount of love.
At a young age, we learned to abandon ourselves in order to not get abandoned by others. As we become adults, many of us learn to suppress who we truly are and what we truly want in life in order to belong to the tribe. We acquired a false identity, which is the version we become to be accepted into our first tribe, our family.
Are you a people pleaser who always puts your needs last, if at all. Did you decide to become a doctor instead of an artist because your parents thought it looked good for the family? Did you marry the partner your parents approved of instead of the love of your life? We ask you, why are you not living Your Truth?
Living Your Truth means being authentic and True to yourself. Living Your Truth involves living according to your values, desires, and beliefs, rather than conforming to societal expectations. Living Your Truth requires self-awareness, self-acceptance, and being honest with yourself and others. Living Your Truth means pursuing your own needs and goals without fear of judgment or abandonment.
As we shed our outdated limited beliefs we acquired in childhood, we begin to release our false identities and embody our True self. Embodying our True self brings freedom, joy, and fulfillment as we navigate life with integrity and self-respect.
Join us on August 9th at 10a.m. as we explore what could be standing between you and your True self.
