For most of my life my passion was horses. I love all animals and have always had many in my life including goats, cows, rabbits, dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, and many other creatures. After being talked out of vet school, I proceeded directly to the Potomac Horse Center after High School and earned my Horse Master’s certification. For years I worked as a trainer specializing in teaching riders who had traumatic accidents and horses who were abused. My approach was similar to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I did not know it at the time. Several of my students, who were psychotherapists, repeatedly encouraged me to go to graduate school. I am glad I listened.
Now instead of training horses, all I want to do is make a difference in other’s lives. In my “retirement position” all my therapy work, retreats and groups revolve around supporting women 35+ in their healing, wellness and growth. After extensive training and ongoing consultation, I have incorporated ketamine treatment with wonderful results.
Now retired, my wife Kimberly has joined the adventure serving as our certified sound therapist, ketamine guide, and retreat co-organizer. We have finally arrived at that place in our life where our work no longer feels like work. It is our purpose. Now retired, my wife Kimberly has joined the adventure serving as our certified sound therapist, ketamine guide, and retreat co-organizer.
